The brand was founded in 1998 and operated in 2000 by the group NTM Joey Starr rapper and two associates

(Roland Ragot, CEO of the brand, and Thierry Abitbol). The three original founders were later joined by Fabrice Allouche, former world champion kick-boxing. In 2009, the brand is present in 80 outlets in France.


Com8 is originally intended for young hip hop fans. She enjoys as a result of promotion by the two members of NTM on their tour in 1998. Adopted by many rappers around the group (starting with those of the group founded by JoeyStarr BOSS), and with good exposure in the media [success quickly goes beyond the suburbs, thanks to a wider range (creation of a women's line in 2002, for example). Follow signatures licensing agreements in France, for the luggage (Lanco), stationery and school bags (company Alpa) and glasses (company Opal).


Com8 has urban artistic values ​​of its own, and it highlights through its new collections.


On the occasion of the tour group NTM in 2008, the collaboration was resumed and Com8 is an official partner of the tour. Product line will be created especially for the event.


A certification license agreement for Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and America was signed with Asia Industries Group based in Hong Kong.
